The final in our Pickling Hataitai series we will be making a delicious Indian-inspired vegetable pickle.
Together we'll make a big batch of this deliciously moorish Indian-inspired pickle. You’ll get to take home a jar for yourself, and the other jars will be served at our Seeds to Feeds community dinner on Saturday 6 March.
Please bring along around 500-750g of vegetables. We suggest carrots, cabbage, green/runner beans or cauliflower – but if you have anything else you’d like to try pickling then feel free to bring it along! It just needs to be a vegetable that will hold up to braising in vinegar for around 20-30 minutes. We will provide jars, spices, and other ingredients plus give you a recipe card to take home.
