Join us in celebrating Island Bay, Local Kai and the Holiday Season.

We'll be setting up big beautiful potluck kai table and invite you to bring something to add to it if you wish. It could be your favourite festive treat, something you have grown in your māra or your favourite dish, what ever you wish to share.

We will have a table set to share and swap seeds, seedlings or crops, you are welcome to contribute anything to this table also and equally welcome to take home anything you wish to grow or cook.

We will also look at the garden beds at the community centre to see if we can grow some kai there, or brainstorm other areas in the community that might also work as a community growing space.

This event is designed to show case the mahi of Seeds to Feeds and how it can be used in community to share kai, celebrate kai and make new connections.
