Come and connect with our community at our nourishing event showcasing locally sourced, grown, and prepared food.
This is Newtown’s fourth year participating in Seeds to Feeds and every year we have evolved into something new. With new growing spaces, new community connections, and a team of people passionate about local food - this year we invite you to enjoy this Whānau Picnic.
The picnic - We are so thrilled to be hosting this at Newtown School. We’ll be offering delicious salads, dips, breads, desserts and more made from fresh local produce some of which has been grown and foraged locally. Most excitingly we will feature items which our wonderful Newtown School has helped us prepare.
It’s BYO plate, cutlery, cups, and blankets - though we will have some on hand for those who are unable to bring their own.
Crash Bandihoot - off the back of a stunning performance at WCC's Garden Magic series at Botanical Gardens we are thrilled upon THRILLED to be welcoming Crash Bandihoot to the picnic stage. With upbeat, brassy, jazzy beats that will get even the quietest dancing, we are feeling super excited to have them liven up our shindig!
We can't wait to share this magic afternoon with you, it's fun for the whole whānau!
